The obsession with controlling women’s bodies feels like a colossal waste of time and energy, especially when the United States is grappling with problems that affect literally everyone. Why are we more focused on policing uteruses than fixing homelessness or education? The issue here isn’t just about reproductive rights—it’s about misplaced priorities in a country that refuses to address its real crises. It’s easier to fight old cultural wars than to face the challenges that require profound, systemic change.
